Clean India

Present situation of India

"SWACH BHARAT" , this tagline is on every Indian's tongue as for the concern of India's increasing pollution rate . But a very few people take the responsibility of cleaning our surroundings.

As the entire nation is abuzz with the cleanliness drive and campaigns under the impetus of 'Swach Bharat Abhiyaan' launched by the Honorable Prime Minister, mr. Narendra Modi, let us contribute to it by making ourselves clean first. If every citizen contributes to even some extent towards this Swach Bharat Abhiyan then we cannot imagine how effective ot will prove towards fulfilling the aim of this campaign.

Just like food, water, oxygen and other things are important for our existence similarly cleanliness is also crucial for our healthy physical and mental makeup.

We must have realised that most Indian places whether it's a lane , street, railway station , government office, hospital or a bus look unclean and unpleasant to out eyes . This results in the spread of diseases. The death toll rises as more and more people succumb to the diseases and die in absence of proper treatment and care.

We must start the cleanliness drive from our own home and surroundings. Our zeal and enthusiasm for the cleanliness is useless , if our own home and surroundings are unclean , and we are spending hours cleaning the streets in other areas.

Indians gained freedom under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi but his dream of CLEAN INDIA is still unfulfilled. Amit Abraham has very wisely said " Clean your mind and our country will automatically get dry-cleaned.
